5050 short films request to vie at Tehran Short Filmfest

More than 5000 foreign short films have requested to compete at the Tehran International Short Film Festival.

A total of 5050 short films from around the world have been received by the 35th edition of the Iranian event.

Organized by IYCS, affiliated to the Ministry of Culture and Islamic Guidance and a member of International Short Film Conference, the festival is aimed to provide an opportunity for young filmmakers to exchange their experiences.

The 34th edition of the TISFF, was held on October 17-22, 2017, in the Iranian capital city.

The 35th edition of the Tehran International Short Film Festival, to be directed by ُSeyyed Sadeq Mousavi, is slated for Fall 2018.
